Mens jewellery.

Christmas is around the corner and the phone has not stopped ringing for those last minute orders, the emails are adding up, and the order book is quickly filling, and it’s the men doing the ordering, for themselves!

I think there must be a global conspiracy by men now to take over the jewellery world, long have men worn only a wrist watch, but I think those days are now numbered, as more and more are wearing bracelets, and rings. Why not add in a matching pair of cufflinks, a pendant or dog tag too I ask them, and they do!

I have to admit that even though I make jewellery I very rarely wear any. But think that will be changing, I’ll have to make myself a set this Christmas.

Christmas 8 weeks and counting…

Its that time of year and every one starts looking at Christmas presents. Being a commission goldsmith every one now wants their presents ready by such a date. We only have about 8 weeks till cristmas and I have a waiting list of work of nearly 3 months. My maths arent to brilliant, but I can’t see how 12 weeks can fit into 8. Interesting thing about this Christmas is the increase in mens jewellery I’m being asked to make. Looks like the boys are starting to look as cool as the girls do now….
